ABOUT WILLIS PET FASHIONS
Introduction
Willis Pet Fashions specializes in affordable pet clothes and accessories with the goal of making
your pet happy without breaking your pocket book.
We are located in beautiful Kings Mountain North Carolina where we not only keep our inventory of
great pet products of numerous brands but where we also manufacture our own brand of pet apparel, accessories, and furniture
at a very affordable price.
History
Willis Pet Fashions started out designing and making a more stylish and comfortable dog Diaper Garment
for small to medium dogs with bladder control problems. After using the diapers for years to help control our own dog*s problem
we decided to take it a step further and created Willis Pet Fashions, which is named after our Furry Family Member who
inspired the diapers creation.
Today, we have grown beyond just dog diapers and have begun expanding our brand to cover clothing,
accessories and fine pet furniture.
Ownership & Brand
Willis Pet Fashions is owned and operated by Jackie Roper who has had a lifetime experience in sewing
and crafting.
For years, Jackie has sewn clothing and crafts for her family and the Kings Mountain area.
She has worked at multiple sewing companies in North Carolina and currently designs and sews
most of the Willis Pet Fashion Brand clothing and accessories.
In addition, our brand also produces an affordable but yet stylish line of pet furniture ranging
from beds to closets as well as feeders and other pet oriented products. Jackie is assisted in this by three generations of
Cabinet and Carpentry skilled family members.
A little more about Willis
Many people ask, *Why the name Willis?*
Willis is the name of our family*s 10 year old miniature poodle that got his name from the Actor
Bruce Willis. Willis has a bladder control problem and was the inspiration behind the original Diaper Garments that led Jackie
to starting Willis Pet Fashions and can be seen modeling our brand of clothing throughout the site.
Willis loves to play ball and early in his life he once believed he was a cat as they were the only
other animals he had daily contact with growing up. In addition to playing ball, Willis enjoys camping, fishing, being with
his family, and riding in cars or on golf carts. However, some of his dislikes are flies, hot weather, rain, thunderstorms,
and bubble wrap.
Lastly, Some of Willis* nicknames include; Willard, Will, Will-Will, Willy-Will, and Willy and he
answers to every one of them.
