How to measure your pet:

1.) Using a soft measuring tape, measure around the brodest part of your pet's chest. (See "chest" on the illustration above.) This is usually right behind their front legs. If your pet has a wide chest, it is wise to go up a size to be sure that any clothes you select will fit around your pet without constricting their movement.

2.) Using a soft measuring tape, measure around your pet's neck. (See "neck" on the illustration above.) Various garments may fit around your pet's neck differently depending on the fabric the garment is made out of. As with the chest measurement, if your pet is between sizes, go up a size to be sure that any clothes you select will not be too tight and end up choking your pet.

3.) Using a soft measuring tape, measure from the base of your pet's neck (where their collar rests) to the end of their back where their tail starts.  While this measurement is important, the chest and the neck measurements are much more important when sizing your pet for clothing.

DO NOT MEASURE TIGHT.

Measure a comfortable loose fit but not sloppy baggy loose. A general rule of thumb is loose enough for three fingers to easily slide in under the tape.
